Quick answer
Open the PDF, click where the text should go, type, and download the completed file.
Step by step
- Open PDF Form Fill.
- Drop in your PDF.
- Click exactly where you want text. A text box appears, so just type.
- Use the drag handle to move the box, and the toolbar to change the font size and color.
- Use "Next" and "Prev" to go through the pages, then click "Save filled PDF".
Tips
- Zoom in and place the text right on the line. Narrow boxes need a smaller font size.
- Look at every page before you save. Your entries are remembered per page, so it is easy to flip back and fix a line.
- Need a signature as well? Save the filled PDF first, then add your signature with PDF Sign.
Flat PDF or fillable PDF?
A fillable PDF has built-in form fields you can click into. A flat PDF does not. This is typical for scanned forms and forms exported from a design tool, and it is why you sometimes cannot type into a PDF at all.
This tool does not depend on built-in fields. You click anywhere on the page and type, so it works on flat and scanned forms as well.
Good to know
The text is added as real PDF text, not as a flat image, so it stays crisp. Your form is processed on your device and is not uploaded.
