Quick answer

Open PDF Sign in Safari, draw your signature with your finger, choose the PDF, place the signature and download.

Step by step

  1. Open Safari and go to PDF Sign.
  2. Draw your signature in the pad with your finger. Pick an ink color and tap "Use this signature". Clear it and redraw as often as you like.
  3. Tap the drop area and choose the PDF from the Files app. If it came by Mail or WhatsApp, tap Share and "Save to Files" first.
  4. Tap the page where the signature belongs, drag it onto the line and resize it with the corner dots.
  5. Tap "Save signed PDF", then use the Safari download icon to find the file in the Downloads folder of Files and share it.

Tips

  • Turn the iPhone to landscape for a wider signature pad.
  • Pinch to zoom on the page before you place the signature, so it sits exactly on the line.
  • Fill in other fields first with PDF Form Fill, save, then sign the saved copy.

Good to know

This adds a drawn signature image and is not a certificate-based digital signature. Check what the recipient accepts. Your PDF stays in Safari on your iPhone and is not uploaded.

Try it now: PDF Sign. Free, no signup, and your files stay in your browser.
