Quick answer
Open the Resize tab, choose a percentage or an exact width or height, and download. Use the Crop tab for a square or widescreen cut.
Step by step
- Open Image Resize & Crop.
- On the Resize tab, drop in one or more images.
- Choose a percentage, or set an exact width or height. Adjust the quality slider if you also want a smaller file.
- Click "Resize Images" and download your files.
- To crop instead, open the Crop tab, drag a selection over the image, optionally lock a 1:1 or 16:9 ratio, and click "Apply Crop".
Tips
- Make images smaller, not larger. Enlarging a small image cannot add detail, so it looks soft.
- Crop first, then resize, so you control exactly what stays in the frame.
- Resizing changes the pixel size and compression changes the file size. If the file is still too heavy, finish with Image Compress.
Good to know
Cropping extracts the selected area at full resolution. Your images are processed on your device and are not uploaded.
